Alabama Medical Spa Owner Accused of Prescribing Excess Pain Pills to Frat Brothers, Friends

A Montgomery, Alabama, doctor who was taken into custody by federal agents was allegedly prescribing friends prescription pain pills.
Drug Enforcement Administration agents executed a search warrant at the office of Dr. D’livro Beauchamp on Woodmere Boulevard before 1 p.m. Wednesday, said Doug Howard, a spokesman with the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Beauchamp was charged with distributing controlled substances, according to federal court records filed Thursday.
