Anatomy is more than an image on a page. Through injector-specific lecture topics and hands-on cross-sectional dissection, gain practical knowledge of facial anatomy including:
✓ The role depth plays in injection safety in different areas of the face; ✓ How different facial structures can help guide where you inject for the best results; ✓ The way different filler products behave beneath the skin to inform which product you use where.
Safety Is More Than Skin Deep
Safe, confident injections come from a deep understanding of facial anatomy. See beneath the surface with a hands-on cadaver dissection lab and a live in-person introduction to ultrasound for injectors. This two-day medical aesthetic training course will help established and advanced injectors take the next leap in skill and safety.
This facial aesthetics anatomy and technique course features:
✓A hands-on cadaver lab giving attendees a 3-D understanding of facial anatomy ✓A detailed panel diving deep into addressing filler complications ✓Focus on common areas of concern including tear troughs, temple and jaw; ✓Classroom instruction on facial anatomy specifically related to injectable treatments; ✓A live demonstration of safe injection technique ✓An introduction to using ultrasound for injectables* ✓A complimentary copy ofAtlas of Ultrasound and Anatomy: Facial Rejuvenation by Chris Surek, DO, FACS and Steven Weiner, MD.
The Academy for Injection Anatomy Advanced Cadaver Course is approved for 13 CME hours for physicians, physician assistants, advanced practice registered nurses and registered nurses.

Why Attend
"We learn a lot of anatomy in books throughout our careers but this has been a really good experience in translating the books into real life."
Iris Graham, PA, Owner, Millefiori Skin Care
"I do not believe that any injector should be practicing on a live patient until they are actually able to dissect a face and look at the anatomy."
"It's one thing where we learn things on paper, and we learn things in this very 2D view, but when you're able to see it, and feel it, and dissect it, it gives a whole different appreciation."
Jennifer Fleming, NP, Owner, The Alchemy Clinic

George Baxter-Holder, DNP, ARNP, CANS, ISPAN-F, has first-hand knowledge of how beauty-obsessed today’s Hollywood actors are. As a child actor in Hollywood he played the role of a genetically perfect boy on Star Trek: The Next Generation. His “bad boy” character made all around him start to age prematurely. In real life, Baxter-Holder plays the “good guy” role. Trained as a board-certified aesthetic nurse practitioner and doctor of nursing practice, he helps patients reverse the signs of aging at SkinSpirit Medical Spa in Austin, TX. Additionally, he is the most utilized trainer with Galderma Aesthetics and is also one of three faculty at Academy for Injection Anatomy with Chris Surek, DO, FACS. He holds a doctorate from Duke University and a Masters from the University of Washington. And while he is no longer, “genetically perfect,” he is working on aging well.
