There’s an App for That—Previewing Facial Filler Results

A new app may change the way medical spa clients may decide on going through with facial filler treatments. ModiFace, the company who created L’Oréal’s Makeup Genius app in June of 2014, has partnered with Allergan Canada to launch a live facial rejuvenation and enhancement mirror app.The technology in this app allows clients who are considering facial rejuvenation treatments view projected results of facial filler in real time video with a full 3D-rendering. The app’s mirror will capture every angle that one would see in a traditional mirror.The virtual mirror app tracks facial features, including wrinkles, folds and loss of fullness, and performs a like-life 3D-stimulation of clinically calibrated facial enhancements, says Patricia De Simone, international strategic marketing manager at Allergan.Read more at Skin Inc.
