Popular Requests in the Treatment Room This Year

The American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) has compiled a list of treatments members believe will be popular in 2018. “We foresee more flexible fillers that ‘bend’ when the face animates as well as longer-lasting filler options, “says AAFPRS president William H. Truswell, M.D. Truswell also believes that volumizers will be used to rejuvenate clients. Clients will be seeking solutions that help them look better on social media. In fact, 42 percent of AAFPRS members say their clients are requesting facial plastic surgery for that specific purpose. For clients not interested in surgery, injectable rhinoplasty, which involves injectable fillers and can be performed in minutes with less downtime than a surgical rhinoplasty will be a popular option.
